Race #2 - Rockingham Speedway

The RUSH Racing League headed Southeast for their second race of the Season. During the week, race team Big Cheese Racing (#92) suffered a shop fire that almost had them forced to withdraw from the event however, with the help of RMS, stealing their hotdogs and hauler, they were able to make it but, almost missed practice due to their hauler keys being thrown into Lake Lloyd.

Practice seemed to go pretty well for the #30 of Bobby Simpson, 2nd fastest on time, set a fairly consistent pace too. Of the 6 drivers entered to race, top 3 in practice were, Sean Daryman, Bobby Simpson and, Graham Harris. All close on time too.

Qualifying started shortly there after, as everyone set their lap times, drivers were also figuring out pit strategy and whether or not they'd have to stop under green flag conditions, very rare for RCS.

Sean Daryman would line up on the pole for the second week in a row, he's always been good in time trials and short runs, never long runs though. Wesley Abston would lineup outside pole, with Bobby Simpson, Teddy Vogel and Jan Tuytens rounding out the front 5.

Graham Harris, notorious skill issue maker happener, spun on his first lap, and couldn't get up to speed for his second. Marking the second time Harris had to start in the back.
